My first thoughts are: does it leak on any of the seams? If it doesn’t then I would leave well alone and just clean them up without removing them🤔

More than toes wet now!
The seams on the roof of ours were very dirty and wouldn't clean up. They were also starting to show some signs of need resealed. I had thought about removing the "D" shaped cover however as it's very well stuck down and, probably, wouldn't come off without breaking thought again!
Ended up covering them with Eternabond tape. As they are on the roof you never see them and adds "double" water ingress protection.
Wouldn't suggest you do the same as the sides are fully visible but would consider the potential for damage if trying to remove. When I did the side seams it was just clean out the discoloured sealant and reseal with trims in situ.
