Satellite issue

Basically have a new weinsberg and satellite is tuned for abroad, tried retuning to astra 28 but also need to know about transponder etc. Any idea on tuning please.
Have a oyster smart TV and dish, ten haaft feature box

There are loads of threads on MHF about Astra 2 Default transponder....
You need to do a bit if searching...
I only use Oyster stuff....which has pre-installed Sat settings.perhaps yours does also...see if your dish moves from 19° to 28° when you select Astra 2...then do a full program search....

cheers did have a quick search and main correspondence was about astra 28 but not sure which this is on our, cant reach roof to check the degree angle.

3crispies the chances are that the TV just needs a new list loading onto it with the UK channels. The Oyster takes it's cue from the TV so will lock on to the satellite of the currently selected channel. If you haven't sorted it yet give me a call and I can arrange to send you a list and explain how to load it onto the TV.

that would be brilliant, will have a play this weekend and if not speak next week. On plus side havent seen eastenders all week...

still struggling have set to astra 28.2, transponder to 10847.00 although preset is 10714 done auto search and still no channels in english infact channel list is still german even tried digital Tv instead of satellite

Send me your email or email me here: anthony@oystersat-tech.co.uk and I'll send you our latest list to load onto the TV. The on screen menu's could well be in German as it's an imported system but I can sort that in a few seconds if you are to give me a call when with it.
