S.A.P Visit Recommendations For Somewhere To Stop

Hi we will be visiting S.A.P end of August and will need somewhere to stop whilst they have the MH for 2 days.
So anyone stayed close by that was responsible and clean ? Only 1 night required
Also would like to have something of interest to do for the 2 days we will be in the area.

We went to York on the train it’s only a short train journey away and there is plenty to see and do.

Many stay in their van in SAP’s compound. No facilities as I recall, but It’s was a few years ago now.

You have access to hook-up and water if you stay at SAP. The night before we stayed at a CS near Retford about 30 minutes away, very pleasant behind a pub that did good food and beer in a nice area, near to to some old sand/gravel pits that are now a nature reserve. I will see if I can find the name this evening.

Interesting but been to York loads of times, never been to Doncaster thou wonder if there’s anything there ?

We went to York on the train it’s only a short train journey away and there is plenty to see and do.

Expensive, we used our bus passes & then Priority Club points for a couple of free nights at the Holiday inn. The only way for a FLT.
