Don't want to pull just in case

Anyone sat on roof like a lemon lol at least it's a nice day.

It's screwed on from the inside, and stuck to the outside with adhesive/sealant.

Ummm can’t see any screws inside other than the internal screen itself.

Haaaa is it the case that the outside vent is just sealed down and the screws inside then pull down when the internal screen/cover is fitted?

Now I know how to get mine off should I need to thanks

Done but haaaaaaaaaaaa

Removed my old vent and yes it didn’t come off easy or in one piece but fitted the new vent surround, sealed with flat roll mastic and a good run of 512 mastic but yes these is a but always when I do things.

What I didn’t realise or take into consideration was a bloody satellite dish, yes it’s half inch in the way of the vent closing, now I could reverse it and solve the issue but not at 70mph when the wind catches it and off it goes.

So, could not reinstall old vent, could not reverse new fan, cannot move satellite dish so best option I could come up with was.............. drum roll please........

Cut some of the white base vent in the hood away.
Heat the lid up and slowly push it back out of the way of the dish base and let it cool.

Now it fits, not 100% cos it still catches the base but I cannot push it any more than I have, if I known I would of not purchased the vent.

Anyway, question for someone.

My van lights are small thin and it looks like the cables are feed via very thin beige trunking along the ceiling, so where can I get this thin trunking to match, don’t want to run 5” of mini white trunking it will look naff.

D-line micro trunking - half round or quarter round. A quick check, I can only see white online, but I'm sure I saw it in B&Q in beige.

Used plan 2.

Drilled through the wooded Maxxfan frame towards the light, created a small hole above the light and managed to feed a stiff pull rod between the hole and frame and pulled a new length of twin feed through the ceiling.

Now no trunking and cable hidden.
