The recent hot weather caused me to reassess whether it was worth fixing our Turbo-Vent P (when I bought the van secondhand it wasn't working) that located above the rear bed in our 600G.

Subsequent investigation showed that it had 12 volt power into it but the fan wouldn't turn on and the LED on the controller wouldn't light up either.

Figuring that it was either a dodgy controller or a broken fan motor I replaced the controller board it still doesn't work. I suppose that it could be the fan motor that has failed but I would have thought that the LED would still light to indicate that it was getting power.

Does anyone have an experience of these at all ?

OK, so having replaced the controller board it's still not working. A quick test with the multimeter showed that's it's not getting 12 volts but nearer to 10 volts which is probably why it's not working.

I'm pretty sure that it was getting 12 volts before but maybe I was mistaken. Either way, if it's not getting 12 volts that's probably why it's not working.

So .... now to figure out why it's not getting 12 volts !
