I thought that too, but because it's shaft drive it might be tricky to make the wheelbase shorter.

It is beautifully done and well engineered. Some people paint beautiful and pointless pictures...............

Agree about the swingarm, also the vertical bit of exhaust is a bit ugly, but overall I like it!

I keep looking at Goldwings ... no idea why, I never have enough time to use the bike I've got, never mind work on the BSA restoration that lurks at the back of the shed taunting me!

I've got a 1961 C15, my dad had one back in the day and I bought it on eBay on a whim. It's a lovely thing ... well, it will be one day, probably not until I sell it though, just can't find the time or the space.

I had a C15 as a work bike. It had the chrome tank side panels and also had an oil tank which split at its mounting spewing oil all over the back wheel.

Unfortunately not.

The swinging arm is probably no different it's just that the engine, being a flat six, is longer than the in-line four. It looks about the same wheelbase as the standard Wing which is possibly so that the standard drive shaft can be used.

Well over the years I had 5 Goldwings,hobby MotoGp and perfect for the long hauls around Europe.
Firstly a flat 4 then flat sixes.Nothing new there but looks and sure sounds great.Good engineering.
Flat six wings are very quiet,I like to hear an engine.I used Cobra exhausts from the US,lighter and breathed better.my mates said from behind it sounded like a911 Porsche.
Been loads of multi cylinder race bikes of course,Guzzi with a V8 and her’s a road going Morbidelli V8,a rare beast I believe.

I think it looks a lot better than a standard wing but probably not as practical for long journeys
