Well you're not going to get electrocuted so pretty much the same as disconnecting any battery.
Remove earth first, reconnect the earth last.

You should disconnect solar first from battery BEFORE disconnecting battery, then to re connect Battery FIRST then solar.

Your controller must always have a power supply going to it before you disconnect/reconnect your controller to your hab batteries

then you can swap out your batteries, make sure you check your battery type in your solar charger when replacing with a different type if you are going to do that, ie wet/gel etc

Never disconnect a solar panel 'under load', ie, switch off all the 12V stuff before disconnecting..
