I'm new to all this and having a few teething problems with my first motorhome, a Weinsberg carahome. My current one is that one of the locks, to the toilet cassette, broke as the barrel came right out when I pulled the key out. The dealer sent me a new one, see photo. However, there are no instructions on how to change this. Does any one know what this type of lock is called, and even better how to fit it! Google hasn't helped much on this occas Thank you folks. Much appreciated!

Skip through to 3.24 minutes on this video and although not the same lock manufacturer the principal should be the same.
The lock barrel is a Zadi barrel

Thank you! Thats really helpful and looks like I only need to put the new barrel in. Much appreciated!

Crikey, most of my locks do that, I just hold my finger on em when I pull the key out!! I thought it was normal??
Thank you for that! That was actually my view when it happened, but I could not get it back in again. I put it in a safe place.. hence needing a new one. I know...

If it’s the toilet.cassette one that’s broken then you need a new plastic part as well. There is a small piece of plastic in the back of the lock that holds it in place. The locks can be removed with a special key only. This key makes contact with the last ward in the lock which holds the lock in place. This happened on our Swift. Lock just fell out.

Thank you. I'm not too sure about the plastic bit. I can unlock the cassette door by pushing down a latch at the back of the lock with a screwdriver so going to try replacing the barrel first, but will definitely take note of your experience. Appreciated!
