Only since 2012, but I towed for many years
What, in the opinion of Funsters is/are the best seaside site/s in England and Wales. We're particularly looking for those adjacent to pubs, or with a (not too noisy) bar on site. I've got nothing against Scotland (I love the place) but we're not going there next season.

Your recommendations would be much appreciated.

Hillhead c c site, Bus for Dartmouth, Brixham, Paignton, then on to Torquay at Gate. Bar with meals (basic) and shop on site.

A tad expensive tho, especially during school holidays:Sad:

Aug 09 to date 9,000 miles!
CC Cromer. Pub with meals onsite. Walk into town, excellent fish and chips or crab salad depending on weather - at the end of the pier!

Lots of other places to eat and drink too.

There is Searles in Hunstanton. Quite a big site with statics but a decent tourers area with a play park for youngsters. Haven't stayed there for a while though.

If you are coming to Wales, then Pembray Country Park takes some beating
If you like walking, cycling, beaches, seaside, it has it all
There is a very good (expensive) CC site but we tend to use the CCC and other rallies and THSs that take place right inside the park
There is no pub on site but there are some excellent eateries and a chippy just outside the park.

As you can tell it,s one of our favourites
