I used to carry 2 or 3 tables but since downsizing we use the internal table outside and carry a small pic nic table to use outside cooker on.BUSBY.

Our tables in the van are on poles in the floor so we have 2 Fianna tripod feet and so take the tables outside. 1 for eating and 1 for the Cadac

We have three, two suitable to eat at and one suitable for a cuppa, hold the bbq or the gins! The two that can accommodate eating at the tops /slats remove and fold up and legs concertina. Very lightweight made of aluminium , and take up little room. I use indoors and out and doesn’t matter if they get wet. We’ve removed the fixed table as it’s way too large

Thanks guys ....
I like the Isabella, but about twice the weight I’m looking for ...
The Fiamma tripod feet are a good idea except our table only has one leg so would need a rail attaching externally and I don’t really want to sit that close to the van!
There’s a few on John’s Cross I looked at and like .. Kampa seem to do a good range.

We got our fold up table for eating at from Homebase, it's very sturdy but quite light, our cadac sits on a proper calorgas folding table really good as it has shelves for plates etc, purchased off eBay, very cheap

Aluminium table from Go Outdoors. Folding scissor type legs and a roll up top. One leg is adjustable to stop any rocking. Very light and packs into its own carry bag. Wait for a sale and you can get it for £40. Can seat four.

As for the BBQ get a weber Q1200 snd buy a weber folding trolley for it :D2:D2

Yep, Fiamma tripod for me as well - and use the table from the van

Another vote for roll top aluminium, most camping shops sell their own version and they are all virtually the same. They get as low as £20-£25 when on offer or with discount codes.

I have just bought a Quest elite brean aluminium folding table to stand our Cadac 2 Cook on.
It's lightweight, has enough surface space for the Cadac, the food your cooking and plates for the cooked food, plus it folds to half it's size for storing.
It's 900 x 600 and 680 high.

Hi.
We have used a "Folding legs" table from Go Outdoors High Gear? for years. All four legs are adjustable,it doubles up sometimes in the house garage as a bench (SECRET!!") Would not be without it,thought of using it as the main table in the m/ho as its lighter, but it needs to be just a bit narrower and i am not a "Wood butcher" (Joiner ) It will seat four,so big enough for the two of us.

loving this table thread, have been trying to persuade John to remove the heavy fixed one in the van, but we can, and have seated 6 round it for meals quite a few times so he wont hear of it. we have a roll up table we use for the cadac and one with folding legs which we can also get 6 round. It wont fit in the space of the van one though, I did measure up. Mostly there is just the 2 of us but we are sociable.

I use one of these too but I cover the top with pvc cloth as the sun bounces off the aluminium a bit :)

The frame without the top on makes a useful place to hang wet towels and smalls when nothing else handy. I miss the bike rack!

Do that when using a table inside makes it look more formal. You know for them posh dinners.

We use a light Aluminium one, to save weight, but it can get blown away in strong winds.
A slatted top fixes to a scissor base with adjustable legs. Robust and versatile. I think ours is a Quest but there are others.

Coleman camping-6 in 1
two tables can be configured as one to dine or end to end bar-style.Height adjustable. I usually use one for Cobb and one for prep/aperitif then combine to dine.

Coleman 6-in-1 looks very promising to me. Adjustable legs. Suitable for a barbecue. .

Any other suggestions?

We ended up going with an aluminium folding table Outwell Canmore ... we were looking for weatherproof and adjustable legs so seemed to fit the bill.

The Coleman 6 in 1 gets our vote. We’ve been using it for 6 six years and it’s still ok. It’s very adaptable as your able to split it into two tables if needed and adjust it to three different heights. It’s also got adjustable feet for uneven ground. We use it inside and out as I’ve removed the big bulky table from inside.......couldn’t believe how heavy it was, so a great weight saving as well as freeing up space in the lounge area.

On our coachbuilt I bought the round receiver for the fiamma chrome pole that goes underneath the table top (about 11 quid) and gorrila glued it to my own price of table top. We then used it in the van and it was just the right size and shape and it could also then be used outside for whatever. Now we have a PVC we use one van table on a tripod and a folding slatted aluminium camper table for the Cadac

Are the legs invidually adjustable to any length, or only the three lengths? I've read that being able to adjust each leg slightly is important for uneven ground.

So our tables were delivered last night .... and they sent the wrong ones. We now have to repackage them, take them 8 miles to nearest DPD drop off point, wait until they’re back in warehouse before they send out replacements :(
