Is it still possible to stay overnight in Port Solent before an early morning ferry?

Was vans there a few weeks ago.
You need to let them know.

I parked in Jan before heading to Spain,I spoke to security and no need to inform them anymore if parking overnight.however if you feel the need you can call and inform them.
Cheers Cris.

Used it 3 weeks ago and will be using it again Sunday night on return journey, don't forget ro call security, they do come around and check very early in the morning, even on a Sunday.

We've used it for the ferry to Spain for last 6 or 7 years and never called security with no issues.

We met the attendant at 6-30 on a Sunday morning who was checking every vans reg against a list on a hand held device, I'm thinking there must be a reason, if I remember correctly there's a sign that says fines can be issued, it's only a phone call, they answer quickly and are very efficient in taking van details including drivers name, why risk it.

It's very convenient, we have used it many times.
The restaurants available in the marina are good enough to show our support and always tell them you are in a motorhome so we keep this fabulous resource.

Mind the sleeping policemen, especially the second one just before the mini-roundabout that leads off to the tip( sorry - local amenity site). It's bad enough in OH's car let alone a loaded MH.
