Much more than May & June when we normally come @ £43 a night .

This time about £103 a night. But it’s worth it. Sea front, fully serviced, 10 amp (some are 16). Great facilities. Restaurant, take-away, snack bars, pool, mini golf, entertainment and much more. Quiet if you want it to be.

Paid €90 a night for that crap hole holiday marina in grimaud last year.

Friends restaurant just along the beach is great too.

I can recommend the steak and the chicken skewers with a nutty sauce.

We haven’t got a van at the moment but my daughter wants to go back and stay in one of those posh looking lodges they have(y)

I don't think they do. Their website should say.

Takes me back, we had a beach front pitch with our frame tent on our first trip to Spain before we were married back in the 60's. Wasn't cheap then.

It’s only worth what it’s worth to us!.

Very much enjoyed and gave the grandchildren some freedom.

I would’nt pay £2,500 for a auto satellite dish. I can do without tv or find it manually.

But, if you like your TV!?

Each to their own but at that price if we stayed on places like that I would seriously consider if motorhoming was worth it. Depends how many nights a year how often you change the van hab/servicing /storage etc but it could easily total north of £200 a night with those pitch fees

My Dad likes it there.

Playa Montroig is though different class (in my opinion).

With both sites though you are a bit cut off if you don't have transport. There is a bus service (of sorts) into Cambrills but that's about it I think and despite trains whizzing through both sites there isn't a way of getting on them I don't think, at least not locally.

I have to go for a lie down...

JJ

For once I agree with JJ. Northernraider has found places just as scenic for free.
Anyway if they don't allow dogs we wouldn't go there however inexpensive it was.

No pockets in a Shroud.

Besides, as I said. It is about the whole package. Yes, we have a superb villa with a private pool in Javea. But the Children met other Children, could sit on the beach and play in full sight of us. They had a small amount of new independence of going to buy their own Ice creams, croissants and nip to the park. Sea views, great facilities.

I know a stunning Free Cliffside camping spot. One where you get far reaching sea views and daily dolphin sightings along the Spanish Med. But we cannot do any of the aforementioned.

There are many things people pay lots of money for on here. The same things I may only pay a 10th of the price for.

We like the idea of staying put and relaxing. I went out on my Mountain Bike, we all took a Taxi ride (not much more expensive than the bus and a lot less hassle) into Cambrills. We always have a trip out for one day. But, this area is very expensive for drinking and dining.

Se above re the scenic location.

We have had Four amazing dogs. But the fact the site does not allow them is a bonus for us.

We tend to take the bus to Cambrills and then get a cab home after a meal and drinks. I think the cab is c€12 but I leave that side of things to my staff.
