Anyone know the service intervals on a Peugeot Boxer engine ? Our 9mth old Bailey motorhome has covered 2k. It will be 1yr old in Sept and hasn’t moved since Feb

I'm sure I read somewhere that it might be every 24mths?

2years or 30k, kms whichever is sooner

Shouldn't the driver's handbook have this information?

ah handbook not to hand at mo. Thanks for the responses (y). Hopefully it won’t be too long before we can all get back out and about in our motorhomes.

We’ve just hit two years in ours. Mileage is 2657, unused since Nov 2019 due to covid. To keep the warranty we need a service but Peugeot are the most confusing manufacturers I’ve ever known. There are NO service schedules in the documentation at all. Bailes Peugeot want £212.00 for the service but don’t say what is included, however they ‘recommend ‘ changing brake fluid (£90.00), fuel filter (75.00) and a couple of other things making the total over £450.00. It isn’t clear if these additional items are required to keep the warranty. At the mileage we’ve done it’s a nonsense to do some of these. And there’s another list of items that ‘may’ be required at various additional costs, including ‘changing engine oil and filter’. Knitting fog would be easier!

Wow, so the £212 does not include an oil change 😡

Ours was also two years this year.
I only got a minor service done which appeared to be just the oil and filter and checking fluids etc.
With only 7000 miles on it, I didn't bother with brake fluid, fuel filters etc.
I also change the oil and filter every year which I do myself between services.

I have a Boxer and change my own oil for about £50 if memory serves

Do you know the Oil Spec for the Boxer 2.2 165 Engine? I need to top mine up as its low and 6 months to the Service by Time only done 5000 miles and its burnt black and thin with computer stating its on level 1 but the actual dip stick shows its on max level. The Oil is obviously thin and throwing up the Oil propmts on the dash!

I dont know the oil spec for your engine (what year? spec Euro 6?) .
I have a euro6 2017 Ducato and would be extremely unhappy if it was burnt black and thin as diluted by Diesel. Change it now. Has the engine had a known over rev or overheating issue or head gasket replacement. Believe the dip stick (if you can read it) as apposed to the sensor. Do not overfill. This can occur with aborted attemps to regen the DPF.
