shrilling kids just running around the van, shittyshittyshitty shitshit dog owners leaving bags full of poo on paths and hanging in bushes and twatarses lighting up camp fire baskets just down wind of our open windows!

Ahhh, I feel better now

Permission granted, But where are you, I see none of that from my pitch ?

Glad its not just me.

Last week we had a riveting phone call answered by a bellowing retard not twenty feet from where we were sitting out and that was followed by the same idiots lighting a poxy fire thing that sent smoke everywhere.
Totally f%%%ked up the developing sunset and evening slurp for me, had to resort to scrabble and getting pissed in the van.

Yesterday a couple of caravans arrived and they brought with them a rake of rugrats luckily for us we are on a friends and family pitch away from the main pitches so hopefully won't be too bad. Having said that at the moment they appear to be well behaved but that may not last.

Have to say I particularly struggle with screaming hollering kids especially when the parents seeming turn a blind eye and let them carry on without any form of restraint. I can't get my head around it but then I've not had kids so I'm no bloody expert!

I stopped for a coffee in the centre of Braubach after a castle tour (recommended) yesterday, all deathly quiet and peaceful... until I sat down and these little 3 seemingly deaf little horrors began shouting at each other at the top of their voices non stop for the whole duration that I drank my coffee... a whole two minutes as it happens ? I knocked it back and left.

That said I have on many (many) occasions been told I'm very noise sensitive.. to which my usual response is.. Shut up and leave me alone ?

That's OK then if they are down wind of you. Why not open your toilet cassette and let them have a dose of that??!!

There is nothing wrong, per se, with kids (or dogs). Unruly kids/dogs are a reflection of their guardians. It’s as simple as that.

It is one of our frustrations when visiting camp sites with our well trained and well behaved dogs to have other dogs constantly yap/bark as we walk past. Our dogs just walk past nonchalantly wondering what the furore is about.

Recently I’ve taken to stopping at any pitch where the dogs yap until they stop yapping. Once they’ve stopped I tell the yapping dog that it’s a good dog and then walk on.

Continuing to walk past a yapping dog only confirms to the yapping dog that yapping makes any ‘threat’ go away.

Despite my earlier post supporting children I am now at the departure gate at Krakow airport and anxiously watching the number of young children arriving. I know I'll get a seat kicker behind me. Also can't help noticing the amount of additives parents are plying them with.

That'll be me then. Training Whippets is like herding cats :D.

Nope, don’t think so. Can’t say I can recall a whippet ever barking at us. ?
