Has anyone bought from peak motorhome Chesterfield Derbyshire.

Been around in different guises for ages, used to have quite a dealership in Ashbourne on the airfield industrial estate, and seemed to be very good ,can't remember what make they were selling, as I only used them for accseries but they were very good on them.
But then suddenly gave up same as they had done before but don't think they left anyone in the lurch.

They dealt in Laika when they were in Ashbourne.

I looked at that Globecar back in May, even had quite a discussion about it on the phone with them. It then disappeared from their website but returned just over a month ago I think.

I bought a Bentley motorhome from them many years ago. They appear to crash and rise regularly.
Probably can't get going again this time round.

They are local to us, I bought my first motorhome from John, knowledgable but a typical car salesman, talks the talk

I wouldn’t fancy a warranty issue with him

but he’s not daft and wouldn’t buy in anything not fit for sale

I phoned peak motorhomes this morning the reason yard is empty is they have no motorhomes to sell all have been sold he is busy trying to find some stock.the ones on the website are just left on website so people don't think place has shutdown.

there are quite a few dealers like that. My mate just bought another from a dealer in N.Devon who had only 1 other for sale. when they usually have around 15 . all been sold & stock difficult to obtain.

Did they have a place between Derby/Ashbourne a few years ago then moved to Ashbourne....if so I would stay clear .

All these places with no motorhomes but when I asked about a part exchange price on mine it was less than half the current price I could get privately so I will keep and it can rot where it is

Hi, I'm a bit late to send a reply to this. I've only just seen this. This is John from Peak Motorhomes.
We are Peak Motorhomes. We are nothing to do with Peak Leisure who trade/used to trade in Ashbourne. We haven't had any other trading names.
We have never crashed and risen.
We have been at these premises for 20 years+
We have not shut down, after easing of lockdown all our stock sold very quickly, then we locked down again and weren't able to trade.
We are gradually building our stock back up and have a shiny new website about to be launched.

We are also happy to take part exchange vehicles. And if your looking to sell, we will give a very competitive price.
We only deal in good quality, low wear, low mileage vehicles.
