I’m a newbie
HELP, would like advice.

In a couple of days I will be heading into Paris for three nights from the north east and would like to stay in a hotel for 3 to 4 nights and leave the van safe while sightseeing.
2.5 meters high transit.
Most hotels I’m checking have height restrictions.
So, anybody got any advice or better still, hotel names that might fit the bill.
As long as the location allows me to bus or metro into Paris I don’t care how far out it is(within reason😜).
First post so be gentle.

Thanks

Don’t know of any hotels but We are doing the same thing and then carrying onwards for 5-6 weeks. Visit Paris and relatives in Paris. We are staying at Sandaya International de Maisons-Laffitte. Very close to metro and only €30 ish a night with all the trimmings and use of their pool and facilities. Never been so can’t give a review. Looks good. Paris metro ticket zones 1-5 https://www.ratp.fr/en/visite-paris/english/paris-visite-travel-pass

You have probably thought of this but why not park the van up at Vernuiel d'avre and use the fas train (hour and 20 no stops) to Paris and use motorhome as per normal ?
Other train stations are available.
Good luck and welcome

Something slightly different please make sure you pre trace the route your sat nav takes you a few years ago our took us around some terrible roads with low bridges in an A class 8.4 m MH not fun.

We've just returned from France and spent a long weekend at Sandaya International in Maisons Laffite. Excellent for visiting the city, it's the third or fourth time we've used it. Nice site, perfect location, may well be fully booked at weekends as it was a couple of weeks ago.

There is a place called Parking Wurtz within the peripherique, reported as having a 3.6mtr height limit but I've never been personally so you'd have to do a bit of research to see if its possible to book in advance.
Good luck..
