Thanks ,I don't think it is the gearing as there is no start up noise.Not sure how to re boot it is a Laika and only the little control box is visible and that is wall fixed with the top pressed against the ceiling so not accesable.reading a booklet that is where the reset button is.

I had this problem earlier in the year. Couldn't hear a sound from it and assumed there was no power. It turned out that it hadn't reseated properly when last used. Just a little wiggle (on the dish) and it was fine.
I hope this might be a solution for you.

Good afternoon all,

Apologies for my very late reply but I've been curled up in a Covid ball for the last two weeks and have been quite ill with it even with vaccinations. I am on the road to recovery however still a little under the weather.
If the problem can wait my colleague Pat will be back in the office from Tuesday so you can contact him on 01858575928 or if Hectors it's quite urgent then I may be able to assist.
It sounds as though the system is a digital variant if operated via remote control. These systems have a small magic eye with green LED's which will normally display a dot when in standby, a circulating line when in motion or an error eg E09 if there is a problem that needs attention. I would ideally need to know what the magic eye is currently displaying and then I may be able to assist.

P.S thanks all that have tagged me. Sorry, I just haven't got time to mention everyone by name.
