Now in the UK after a lot of delays and multiple "it's ready come and look" " oh no it's not maybe ..."
Into ES tomorrow to have the crap Buttner inverter charger swapped for a Victron.
Some good points:
The new 10 Series fridge freezer seems a real winner with temps being maintained with ease
The space created with the slide out combined with the bar version is beyond my expectation.
The submarine flaps actually provide better access to the space compared to the Flair
The finish and build quality is far superior to our 2015 Flair
The floor covering has a nice soft feel compared to our Flair
The MB engine is a beast, tanking past lorries on big hills is something I only dreamed of with the Daily
The engine brake is good
The cruise control is better than the daily, it remembers the setting after engine shut down for coffee for example
The Freshlights are a real plus
I will not list the cons until I have confirmed the outcome.
But overall Love it.

Does it have a black tank ?
Which batteries did you go for?

Looks cool Michael.
Did you manage to get fully comp insurance to drive it home?
What are the problems with the Buttner chargers?

Looks lovely and you can see the quality in the photos, hope you have many happy trips in it.

Simply stunning! More than that, Michael has created something completely to his own spec and should be congratulated for doing such an amazing job; I especially like the separate toilet and the glass door and door furniture are lovely. I suspect Morelo might start to produce more like this in the future (if they're smart that is).

Some questions:

1. Is the engine break an exhaust brake system or electric (Telma)?
2. What brand is the washer and what load does it take?
3. What are submarine flaps (are they locker doors)?

Wow I’m not jealous in the least ?

You have dis proven the theory that money doesn’t give you good taste ?

What a lovely beast ?

Wow Michael, looks great love the white mirrors so pleased that it has all (nearly all) come together for you as we know it has been a long journey.

Waiting for the second instalment ;)

Yes they are the locker flaps that Michael didn't like but he is coming round to them now:LOL:
I have heard other people say that the Flair locker flaps look great but you bang your head getting into them and they are a longer stretch.

Martin

On our return through Germany and France, 15.4 mpg.
That's what happens when you do 160k on the Autobhans ?

Yes it does have a black tank, 300 litres and the grey is 300 too and I have a transfer pump to put excess grey into black or use the grey to flush the black tank. There is also water flush for both black and grey. The fresh water is 450 litres.
We have 4 off Super B Lithiums which are quoted at 160amps but that is useable as the battery is actually 200 amps.

No I didn't Lenny, there was one company but they cried off at the value. So bit the bullet and drove back on Export plate third party!! We were fortunate as it happens. However the Flair doing the last few miles to the dealer passing an artic in 2 lanes of busy traffic, one of the artics side lockers flipped open and a plastic bucket popped out, thats OK I thought, miliseconds later a bloody rubber mallet joins the fray and hit the bottom valence. A large chip. The dealer said it was nothing and gave me the agreed price from 18 months ago! Lucky or what!
The Buttner inverter charger is prehistoric to manage compared to the Victron for example. So inverter support only allows either a 3 amp, 6amp or 16 amp selection of EHU breaker. How many times have you had 10! Lots of other issues like noisy, huge, has to be in an exposed position as you have to switch the EHU selection from the box front panel not a remote. and on and on.

Engine Brake is a sort of exhaust brake where the timing is reconfigured... I think!
Eudora, https://www.tcschandlery.co.uk/euronova-1000-compact-washing-machine-230v/p10505 Load depends on wash type but Sally uses prog 4 and bungs in 2 kg, 25 litres for the wash.
funflair has answered correctly, I now find them very usable compared to the Flair, which as Martin says look nice but are not as practical.

Wow! I am so impressed with it! Absolutely lovely. Well done to you

Thanks, and the good thing is that it is shorter than the Flair, it is 9.19 metres, and the wheel base is only 4.76 compared to 5.1 on the Flair. Admittedly at 3.72 metres high it is taller than the Flair which was 3.55. It is so manoeuvrable, and great vision with the mirrors, there is one site that I am now precluded from, Playa Mazzaron, they have 3.5 metre awning poles on their pitches, I could just get on with the Flair, no chance now and I am not staying in their large vehicle area by the road.

I like the proportions on the truck chassis(y) and as you say Micheal the shorter wheelbase for good manoeuvrability.

Sounds great
Is the black tank emptied by gravity or is there a pump ?
Not asking for myself as Mrs C says I’m not allowed any more toys

Fundamentally it is gravity. Morelo fit a Storx connector and have circa 60mm evacuation pipes to it. However I have been able to get a selection of Storx adapters and use my existing 38mm pipes. Today for example I have found that emptying and flushing is a quicker and seemingly more thorough process than with either my Flair or the Yankee. I think the 300 litre tank would last a month! Also Morelo fit external sonar pads for measurement, my Jury is out on them, clearly they cannot be fouled however their readings are only in 25% increments. The 100% appears reasonably accurate. Nevertheless my ideal combo would be external sonar and the % increase measurements of the Flair control panel.
As to the pump, as I think you know I have an external macerator pump which with my adapters I can connect to the Storx and then pump 25 to 35 metres through 25mm pipe that I have. I used to do this on the Flair.

It looks a beaut.
Not sure about the washing machine though?. Maybe a beer,,,, sorry wine/champagne cooler would be a better option.?
Just buy new clothes ???

In my experience with the same size 300L tank, we manage to fill it up in about 10 days (don't even think about saying that's about right because you're full of sh!t). Maybe that's because we don't normally use the site loo's

We have been in Spain for two weeks now and have really noticed the lack of filling station tank dump facilities; unlike France where they appear to be more common.

Lastly, we've also found that the Spanish sites seem to be more compact than others and getting a 9.3m around them and onto a pitch has been, shall we say, somewhat challenging!
