oops need new wing mirror

    okies had my first prang i pulled in to let a lorry by and still the bugger smashed my mirror wish i had retractable ones ah well where can i get a reasonable priced replaced have been quoted over 400 pounds from dealer any help appreciated its a bessecar e560 driver side:Blush:

    Hopefully the investment of a pair of www.mirrorguards.co.uk @ £120 will be worth it as & when our mirrors get hit.

    wing mirror short arm??

    okay guys and girls ordered new wing mirror for my van ready for my adventures arrived with a short arm mirror is perfect match only arm is half the length of old will it make a difference ?????
    advice please:Eeek:

    That happened to me and I found it easy to strip them both down and build a new one the right length.

    YES When I bought last year it worked out at £125 delivered (exchange rate dependant)
    I bought a right side long arm electric

    The way I read it from the OP is his mirror was hit when the truck overtook him when he pulled in to let him pass,
    so mirror guards wouldn't have been much help:Eeek:
