Yes I have seen that. It was when he was starting x.com which became paypal.
The industry laughed at him when he said he wanted to start a person to person payment system that worked over the internet. He had fights to get the banking license.
He proved the industry wrong (again).
He set up x.com by sinking pretty much all of the money he made from the sale of zip2. When paypal sold he wanted to do something for the benefit of the planet, hence he started Tesla, invested in Solar city etc etc.
