While Parked up on Ardrossan beach front all tucked up in bed, I was rudely awaken by someone knocking my door. At 1am!!!
I jumped down ladders opened up the door and there’s a Eastern European asking for a bed for the night.!!!
I asked him to repeat what he said as I reached for my Mallet! Waving it I told him (while bollocked naked) NO!!
My 2 dogs barking right at him saw him off!!!
Has anyone ever been in same predicament???

We must all live our lives as we choose but, after full timing in vans for over 30 years, I will NEVER EVER EVER open my door at that time without knowing who it is and what they want.

One of my full timing Gurus once told me he never even lets on to 'visitors' that he is in his van unless they called out his name...

Still learning, only been doing this less than 2 years

Reminds me when parked at Stoer Point Lighthouse.
8am Sunday morning, bang bang bang on door, I got up and opened the door in my boxers, lady stood there and hurled abuse at me for parking incorrectly, and not between the lines.Swmbo asked who it was, I was flabbergasted, couldn't answer the woman, and shut the door in her face. Told swmbo and got dressed.

Seams this woman had a habit of doing this, she ran the burger van and took a dislike to camper vans and motorhomes. I spoke to some of the others there and they said she'd done the same to them. None of us were impressed with her.

I case of food poisoning after buying grub from her and reporting it to the council would be a nice touch

You should have called the Polis, C**n was at it.

Instant jail for several offences. No question.

Exploratory knock prior to breaking in. Old trick. Probably an organised gang, Eastern European gangs are rife on the west coast.

Yu should not have answered the door. You should have called the Polis, who are after all only about 2 mins away in Ardrossan, claimed to be in a state of 'fear and alarm' at his behaviour and demeanour and it would have been one for a BOP.

Simples.

I was almost afraid to open the picture in case it was of you naked :LOL:
.... I thought the same Janine.... I couldn't open it quickly enough!!!!!! :)
I tentatively looked too ... thankfully although he was buck naked he is quite hairy so not a shock! :giggle:

Tea Bag

Will you girls stop this.

If the OP had been lady in the same condition and the men had taken tour lines of posting we would have been called sex maniacs/misogynists/etc.

I think we all demand a groupie apology - just post us the co-ordinates and time. ;)

All these people suggesting violence etc worries me. If you were parked up and a young lady banged on your door begging for help because she had been attacked, would your attitude be different?

We were settled in for the evening with tv on at a quiet cl. the lady from the caravan opposite banged on the door desperate for help. her husband had tried to change the gas bottle in the dark and cut himself badly. she couldn't drive and they had no phone. fortunately I am a first aider and I cleaned and dressed the wound for the husband and finished fitting the gas bottle. Should I have told them to bugger off, or hit her with the door?

You have to judge each situation on its merits ... obviously if there is someone genuinely needing help you should do so.
