A long-running park and ride service which is causing a council to lose about £70,000 a month could soon become a thing of the past.

That's not the Canterbury P&R which motorhomes can use which is the New Dover Road P&R - that's a picture of the Sturry Road P&R which is for cars only.

Really?? So instead of one bus you will have 79 seperate vehicles. I don't think he's thought this one out.

Of course they are!! If the council enforced the mask wearing rule with draconian vigour people would have no problems using them.

down to 15k a day . one way to make up shortfall would be to stop the free bus & charge £1 per day return = 15k x 5 - £75k/week
That covers the shortfal per month in one days fares

It'll be detailed on the website I imagine. I always check them when going to unfamiliar town.

Definitely on the Canterbury Council website. There are actually 3 P&Rs in Canterbury but only one that can accommodate motorhomes which is the New Dover Road one.

Coming from your area or Dover you would come on A2 and be nowhere near to any clean air zone
