Rally October Caravan Show Malvern 2023 (2 Viewers)

Been to Malvern & Lincoln already this Summer and as relative newbies enjoyed them both as were able to speak with a number of Funsters and begin to feel part of the crew and are now looking forward to a return match at Malvern this week. On the subject of bacon butties when they are on offer do non red meat eaters like us bring their own version like Turkey Bacon and Linda McCartney Sausages? This could possibly be a solution for those left feeling a bit out of it. Yes before anyone asks we’re not vegetarians just eat fish and fowl by choice.

There arnt bacon butties at many rallies and sadly not at Malvern but yes take your own and they will be put on the BBQ for you, but you sould just ask the organiser of the rally where bacon butties are on offer.

This is a fully inclusive event
There are no butties unless Quackers Takes the hint

But at the larger events i belie e veggie options have been available but bringing your own is a great idea as you then get what you want.

However if you wanted them cooked on the Griddle there is a risk of cross contamination

Always best to come prepared and speak to organisers usually the options are

Crispy
Non crispy
Red or brown sauce
Butter or no butter

If there are 20 vans that could be 40 people some having 2 butties

The volunteer cooks always do their best to accommodate but can be preparing up to and exceeding 300 butties

The other option is cook in your van then join the gang

Sorry Nanniemate, the quality bacon served at Woodside Field has to be ordered well in advance.

I might add the volunteers who over the years have cooked at our site have been amazing. Several times the weather has been awful, but the challenge has always been completed and breakfast served with a smile.

A bit windy at the showground today . The marshals will be ready to welcome you tomorrow.
You should see the Motorhome Fun banner
and rally field on your left as you approach the main entertainment hall .
It was way too windy to put the banner up today( we did try ).

The showground is starting to wake up not that many would have got much sleep last night bit it appears to have come through unscathed, but for the Funster flagpole

I hope all those on the road weathered the storm ot did get a little rocky .we will try to put the banner up this morning but we are the first left after the big green building

Please either hold up or have your yellow parking permits in full view so we can see them

Due to our hab door mechanism failing at the most inopportune time we will now be later than originally anticipated, but hope to arrive by around 13.00hrs.
Just stocking up at Morrisons at Stratford, then coming in via Evesham and Pershore, we'll hopefully avoid any delays today.

It does . However they were still pitching people up well after 7pm in the general camping areas last year
