This past weekend , was the Nurburgring 24Hr race, which I have followed for a few years , via the live feed , and we have visited a few times when we have passed by.

Looking at going in 2020, and while I have lots of German friends who fancy making the trip too, I was wondering what the practicalities are, when to arrive, where to camp etc.. do's and dont's . Used to spending 4 days off grid at racetracks, but not specifically this track.

TIA

I've done it a few times there's plenty of places for the MoHo, depending upon how much noise and partying you can stand. I've never pre-booked a space but you can although the formal campsites are bit of a walk. I've been lucky in the past and stayed close to the track.

If you drink enough, you can sleep through anything. Was talking to my mate today , and the unit just down from him runs a Porsche GT3 there , he was going to go , but never told me. As long as we can turn up on spec and squeeze in , i will take my chances .

My son and I are racing Spa next weekend, you're welcome to come along. Pit crew always welcome ?️

What are you racing , what class? We tested on the kart circuit there last year and got mixed up in the Boucles Des Spa Rally, we sat behind the opening car at the start of the stage that started just to the left of the tunnel under the track, as he blasted off with full launch control and everything, have a video of it somewhere. Had to drive 20 metres then turn off, but was funny as , A Class camper wedged in the queue... i bounced her off the limiter cos it seemed the right thing to do.
