Lots of Camping but only a year in our MH
Having spent several years looking at layouts etc we have taken the plunge - emptied the bank account (and some) and bought our MH - give us a flash if you see us - MH is called 'Marlin' - MARion and coLIN. We are looking forward to a bed having spent years in a tent and are currently training up the Cat to join us on UK adventures. Any Cat type tips (kind ones only please) would be welcome.

Welcome! its only money lol. Most money we've ever spent but best thing we've ever bought without a doubt. Get yourself a funsters sticker so we can recognise you on the road. :)

:hiya: Welcome to "Motorhomefun"... (y)

We need photo`s of "Marlin", so we can pull it to pieces...

Get a body harness for the cat and get it used to wearing it before you go. Last thing you want is losing your pussy. Someone posted a picture from there travels in Portugal not long ago who took the cat. Ill be taking my dog but the cats are staying at home. I think taking the four would be a bit much :D

Hi, as @Notakwak said, get them used to a harness. Always take a cat carrier for when you are busy setting up, checking in to campsites, opening windows to pay toll costs etc.

We have lost our Dolly once in Germany (2 days)she got spooked and I dropped her lead in the dark but fortunately found her in time. She is getting used to it now & is good travelling. Take familiar toys. Her covered litter tray and carrier now take over the shower tray. We put an igloo in the van and one in the awning, they are her secure places. She runs in there if anything spooks her. Pic Taken last week in Spain.

You're cat's doing a brilliant Dirty Harry pose there and thinking about you trying to nick the green thing "... do you feel lucky punk ..."
Ha ha you are spot on @Minxy Girl ! It's just a plastic bottle top, she actually plays " fetch" and runs up and down the van chasing after them.

Hello and welcome from West Midlands.
