Just a heads up not to run to close to empty in France right now. we are finding quite a few garages without Diesel. some are listed on the website as " rupture du stockage" but again not 100% reliable.

Total are particularly affected due to the reduction in their prices, most others and supermarkets were ok (but more expensive) when were there last week. We filled up on the A16 on Sunday at total @1.61 so they seem to be keeping motorway stations topped up.

On Friday, reports came in that strikes were disrupting Total’s oil products refining and delivery for a fourth day. The total refining sector outages in France now make up 60% of the nation’s total refining capacity, Reuters calculations show.

We've seen a few Total stations completely out. intermarche Baileul closed, Le clerc Baileul, massive queue. intermarche Gravelines empty, we ve just got some frome SuperU here, at €1.73. they're queuing round the car park but one of the marshalls let us on the truck pump.

We were travelling back today via tunnel and had issues getting fuel. Tried 7 different fuel stations without any luck so decided to cross the border to Belgium. No queues, plenty of although it was 1.91 a litre

We are travelling in southern France near Carpentras, on todays travels all 3 of the petrol stations we passed had diesel and there were no queues.

Today we travelled from Arras sire down the A26- it was really difficult to find fuel, only one garage on the autoroute had diesel, and there were really long queues at supermarkets. Many drivers are panic buying whatever they can, filling cans etc .

whilst there is a war on no country should allow fuel supplies to be disrupted.

We saw our first filling station without fuel today but that was the first in 6 weeks or so in France. The shortages may be a regional thing.

But I filled to the brim at a Carrefour near Saint Malo paying €1.72 which isn't a bad price. Moi panic? Non! :)

We've not seen an open TotalEnergies filling station for over a week. All closed with no stocks due to refinery strikes. Called into an Auchan today to fill up with autogas / GPL and literally had to fight my way across the forecourt due to the queues of vehicles trying to buy petrol and diesel. Clearly genuine fuel shortages and some panic buying.

Filled at Lisieux. Station was very busy with queues but moving steadily. Got LPG at a Total station nearby but all the fuel pumps were closed as out of fuel.

Came back a week or so ago and I thought I would wait until I got to France to fill up.
Left Gravelines and went around the corner to dump tanks then to the nearest fuel station, Empty!!
No worries will go to Cite Europe as fuel station there, Could not fit under the canopy so had to go to the lorry pump.
Pulls up and cones across🤬🤬
I then pulled up to the side and went around and grabbed the gun and started filling😁😁
Old chap turns up with more cones and started waving his hands and jabbering on in some language I didn’t understand so I just waved and smiled😁😁
Think he might have been saying thank you for your business maybe?
170 odd ltrs later and I was a happy bunny

We have not had a problem getting fuel during our six week tour, maybe we have been lucky.
Some fuel stations have been busy but at 1.60€ for diesel they would be eh.

Travelling up from the South most Total stations we have seen on the non-motorway routes are shut. We’ve not had any problems getting diesel at supermarket filling stations.

The Total garage in L'isle sur la Sorge near Avignon was out of diesel yesterday and I was on reserve.
Thankfully Carrafor came to the rescue
