No power from solar panel to leasure battery terminals? (1 Viewer)

Hello l am new to this site and own a 2007 Rapido 999m which l love, l have a problem my just be something stupid but l am getting no voltage readings from my solar panel to my disconnected battery terminals, l have checked the basics all the fuses but now lm stumped, can anyone please help.

Where is your solar controller?
Have measured voltage directly on solar cables to check there is output? Typically 17-22 volts on a 12V panel.

If the battery is disconnected the controller won't work, the battery supplies power for the electronics.

Hi Lenny, haha thank you knew it would be something stupid, how can l can l tell if the solar panel is charging the batteries.

You should disconnect the solar from the solar controller first., or you may damage it.

Disconnect red solar wire at regulator so regulator can read battery state (for a couple of mins) then reconnect solar wire to regulator and regulator will then know how much solar to put into battery

You need a DC clamp meter. Very handy to have because they are a multimeter too

Those are the 12v distribution board and charger nothing to do with the solar.
The solar controller will be a small box between the panels and battery, should be installed near the battery but not always, try following the cables down from the roof.

I couldn't see any solar controler, will check again tomorrow, starting where the panel goes through the roof.
