As you may know from a recent thread, my manager and I are thinking of getting one of these each when in UK in Sept.
A couple of questions I can't seem to find the answer to.

    1. Will I be able to connect my external hard drive via the USB mini port?

    2. Will I be able to use my Railink wi fi ariel with it?

I think the answers are No and No, Ken.

All the reviews I've seen mention Cloud as the only storage expansion available.

AFAIK the USB on the Nexus is only to enable connection to a PC/laptop and the Railink only has drivers for Windows (and maybe Linux) not Android.

Can I please come with you to PC World to see the look of bewilderment on the salesman's face when you ask him? :Rofl1::Rofl1:

Almost certainly you'll plug it into a PC and be seen as an external USB HD.

Another option is a WiFi battery powered HD. A bit pricey.

You can also remove the SD from the Nexus and put it in a card reader.

Or you can look for a tablet with a proper USB interface known as OTG.

This is like buying a MH, do your homework very carefully.
