First time to this and I see pre-booking is closed. We aim to be there Friday evening, do you just pay on arrival? Any tips? Ta ~

You can pay at the gate on your arrival. You will however be pitched in the General Camping area and not with the Funsters. You are most welcome to walk across to the Funsters area and join in our activities should you wish to.

I'm traveling tomorrow in convoy with a newbie, won't be in till 4 or 5 I should imagine.

Am I correct reading that the gates don't shut till 9pm these days, only I remember 4 or 5 years ago turning up just past 6 pm and being turned away, we had to find a local campsite for the night.

Ran into a big downpour just after we got on the M4, hope it missed you guys, the ground was already wet enough when we left.

It has rained on and off all afternoon, when the sun was out it was lovely..

Met a few newbies at Newbury amongst them @Mickx and @daved2524 @XRN and met a few I haven't met before like @Jamwitt and met lots of old friends too many to mention. Had a lovely time and my old mate @swanseajack13 turned up in a gorgeous brand new Dethleffs black edition. So if you live in Swansea and you're wondering why your heating engineer is costing More than he used too, be happy in the knowledge that your money is making an old man very happy.

Finally yet again a huge thanks to Brisley and Pam, Polly and Dave for marshalling and musical entertainment.
