Impossible to tell just from pictures of furnishings. What you really need to be looking at is signs of damp, see this part i have ringed. Look inside all the cupboards and examine the walls and floor.

Hi Nicky, welcome to the fun house! :giggle:

Whilst we are more than happy to give advice we need more specific info ... is there a weblink you can give us so we can see more? Annie has already spotted one issue with the MH so I suspect there are quite a few more!

Also, I highly recommend you pay £15 to become a full member as you can then make more than 5 posts and also get the buyers guide etc free which will give you a LOT of information on what to look out for and avoid a very expensive mistake.

A five berth when fully loaded can be quite heavy, check the weights and your driving licence.

Is this it?

Broken Link Removed

MOT History:

Broken Link Removed

It hasn't been on the road since 2018 and has had to have a LOT of work done (assuming it has all been done including the advisories).

Similar one here sold for £17k. No idea when but gives you an idea..
First thing i always do is search the make, model and year to guage a price they are up for sale. Forgot any extras as dealer never give anything extra for those..

There are many mobile hab check companies, if you get serious about a van then ask if you can send your own guy in to do at least a damp check for you. Could be money well spent.

Have you checked out the Fun classifieds ??

Impossible to say without seeing it in the flesh, but it looks a bit rough from the pics. (dirty inside/out and sealant hanging off in the bathroom etc)

I‘d be reluctant to part with any of my money to a dealer that can’t be bothered to prep his stock for sale.

Demonstrates a lack of care to me, which doesn’t bode well for getting things fixed later.

If you want an older or a cheaper van look at Dragonville Leisure He is a friend of mine and he sells older vehicles or cheaper vehicles. Basically is something is too old for me I will pass them onto Darren.
Give him a call, tell him Simon Jones said to ring him and he will look after you.
I would happily recommend him.

I've bought from them, very fair to deal with even if they come across as wide boys. They will put right everything you point out, well they did for me. Most of their stock is clean however if along the roadside easy to get dirty. One thing to ensure is you get a full gas bottle included, mine did not, they remove them for safety, fine by me as I had existing ones to fit. Oh and the full service is an oil change and little else other than what needs doing for the MoT.
However seeing the past MoT the front subframe had plenty of mentions, unless you are handy with the spanners or can negotiate a replacement I'd walk away from this one. JD(?) motorhomes just down the road is worth a look.

obvious signs of water ingress as annie pointed out and that mot failure sheet is pretty grim i would move on, it looks cheap for a reason i suspect

Hello and welcome to MHF.
If I were you I would walk away from it as others have said? You only need to look at the advisories on it to know it’s gonna be a pain in the future..
Good luck with your hunt

I didn't even think it looked cheap for what it is... ;)

By the way, hi Nicky and :welcome3:!

Sorry to sound rather negative on this one, but I'm sure you'll find a suitable van within your budget.

You could do worse than take up Simon Howards Motorhomes suggestion, and contact his friend.

Good luck with your search in any case! (y)

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry when I see some of the posts from new owners (mainly Facebook rather than Fun).
Common sense and diligence seem to have gone out the window for now.
So many over priced wrecks currently for sale. I’d say that van was worth 8-10k as a trade-in this time last year (even without damp).
Well done to the OP for at least asking questions.

Which means a retail of £15kto£17k last year, and £19 in this silly climate. whats your point?

Have you never seen an offer to buy MoT fail sheet before
It is yes again a case of the tester being frightened of his own shadow
Or his first words were It's looking rough Pall but if your getting rid i might be interested :pinocchio:
I guarantee I could write the same report on any 3 year old vehicle and NOT be proved wrong,
there is a word of pain and difference between corroded and rusty
