Hi, we are new to the website but have been motorhoming for many years.
What is new to us is me becoming the sole driver, since my husband had a stroke last year.I have always driven abroad but he has always done the lions share of the driving.This year, He will be giving lots of( anxious) passenger seat advice as we meander to Italy. I am not TOO worried about the driving, i have plenty of time, taking it slow, but wondered if there are any limited mobility/ wheelchair users with any particularly useful resources and or advice in Europe

Thank you all for your kind welcome! the countdown begins for our September trip to europe again. Excited and a little afraid as the sole driver with the usual main driver as a passenger.

Hi @pabu dont know if you have found it yet, but if you click on the forums sign at the top of the page you will get a drop down with lots of sub forums on it one of which is motorhoming for the disabled, I don't know if you have a look through you may come across some useful information there.

Welcome and good luck. I suggest taking it slowly as you drive through France. Driving in Italy is very different and might come as a shock if you haven't experienced it before. I'm not saying don't go but don't try and challenge them at their national sport.
