Fiamma F45S Awning (Brand New) (Boxed) - £500

We are based in Ascot, Berkshire and the awning will have to be collected.

We purchased this awning just over a month ago for £585. The awning is completely brand new in box, never been fitted and never used. We are selling as the solar panel setup on our van prevents us from fitting an awning.

I'm intrigued ... how does having solar panels prevent an awning going on the side?

Maybe the awning fits on the roof line and the solar panel is already tight to the edge?

Thats a good price, where did you buy it from?

I suspect a black case may make it difficult to sell seeing as majority of motorhomes are white.
Will the seller not take it back ?

I have fitted our solar panels to a custom rack on the roof, the solar panels are large so they have an overhang. If you have a high roof (not extra high) Mercedes Sprinter like we do you have a limited amount of space for an awning on the side and you are actually better off with a Fiamma F80s top mounted awning, providing you have space on the roof which we don’t.

Unfortunately, I am just outside of the returns window and I stupidly took off the shrink wrap on the awning.

I'm in no rush to buy an awning as our van won't be going abroad anytime soon and really no need for an awning in Scotland but if you get no offers I will bid £400, there's no warranty etc after all. A bit like buying a vehicle, depreciates straight away and no after sales warranty etc.

Get the cheque book out now!(y)
It'll be beating it down (or is that pi**ing) for the next 5 weeks as we're off up north!:)

I bought an electric awning for my house, due to the length there are only a few companies that deliver them, I ended up using a company that specialise in delivering carpets, so long tubes, I can’t remember the name but worth ringing an awning company to see who they use. It wasn’t silly expensive but wasn’t cheap, if they get bashed about and damaged your stuffed. It’s an additional cost you need to consider unless someone passing both on holiday would collect and deliver ?

Not interfering just trying to help ?
