Not sure if this has already been on here, but there is a new camperstop on the edge of the pretty coastal village of Agua Amarga, in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Almeria.

It only opened 4 months ago and we stayed last week. It's not particularly cheap but we were quite impressed. Been very stylishly designed, and has fine views of the attractive village, which is moments away. The beach is two or three hundred metres.

Facilities are good, with showers, toilets, washing machines, drive-over grey waste etc. Wi-Fi is included. The price is 12 euro, plus 3 euro if a hook-up is required.

I don't think they have a website, but they are on Facebook.

Think it is opposite the old parking spot which had no services

Quite possibly - it is many years since our previous visit to the area, and we didn't have the van then.

There is a large free beach car park next to the camper park, but it has height barriers on the entrance.

They used to park on beach before barriers - but looking upwards from beach barrier you are parked on the left look to the right side corner the small plot of land people used to park on.

Nice quite area though enjoy

That's it - thanks! (y)

One of the most unspoilt coastal spots in Spain, voted number 1 in europe by the Times. A few motorhomes will be most welcome as very quiet outside July / August, 30 mins from our spanish house. Not one sign for an allday breakfast, brilliant.
