Your insurance company will ask what surcurity you have on your van this could influence the price you pay. Extra measures are up to you to ensure you are happy with your own or your vans surcurity
Have a great time in your new home from home

Hi and welcome

Do you need a steering lock? most likely not for your insurance but if it it made you feel that your pride and joy was safer "go for it" likewise wheel clamps usually just part of insurance for caravans.

Hi POH and welcome.

You don't need a wheel clamp on any campsite.

If you are concerned about security rather than possibly thinking that these devices are insurance requirements, only an accredited alarm and the addition of a tracker are known to reduce premiums, have you considered one of these?

It's discreet and alleviates the need for two bulky deterrents which weigh more (payload) and take up more space.

Make sure that SAS have fixed additional contacts on the vans external hatches, gas locker, under bed external access, rear garage etc as well as the habitation door.

We even have one on the toilet cassette access, I know they say that where's there's muck there's brass but I think that is taking it a bit too far!
