When we had our 5th wheel we used a Honda 2-0L..

Seemed to have coped with most if not all the stuff we had on,,, although it did struggle if we had a lot on at once... ie = Kettle/fridge/freezer/ big Telly etc..

But if we knew we were going to want or need to have a lot on we just turned things off for the time being..

depends how big a genie you want i have a spare 6.3kva honda clone but its an open frame type and quite heavy but about £200 would buy it.
it has been run about 12 hours in total and has 110volt and 230 volt outputs.

usually a 2kva will be enough to run most things, maybe not all the things at the same time but who does run everything electrical at the same time, Honda are renowned to be the quietest but are expensive and a second hand honda will cost the same as a new kipor which is slightly noisier than the honda and all are quiet when no load is on and settle down to an even keel once the load is on. Main thing is to make sure that the genny has inverter technology this will keep your sensitive equipment safe from spikes which can cause damage

We have a KGE3000 Ti Digital yellow Kipor for sale. We first purchased the red 3000 but found it was not ideal for some items because of the sine wave, reason for purchasing the yellow one.

It will run aircon, and all other electrical items up to a max of a constant 2600 watts.

We seemed to be just using it to charge the batteries, so decided to get a 1KVA Honda for that job. Both are the 'silent' suitcase models.

After using the 1KVA for a year, we find that this is sufficient for our needs.
Hence the yellow one must go.

We are looking for £300.00 - no offers.
