Any ideas what this slot is for in the dash of our 2008 Hymer on a Ford Transit base? Wonder if it’s connected with any of the blank buttons next to it - maybe something for commercial vehicle use but not used in a motorhome?

Don't laugh and this a fact as to what it is, and is a holder for a fuel card, bur remember the Transit is essentially a commercial vehicle.

Thanks but don’t think so. The slot is too small for a cd - a bit bigger than a credit card.

I drive a Ford Transit for work and was told by Ford it is a holder for business cards.

True of MOST, but there was a lot of talk, just before I gave up Commercial driving, of making ALL comercially used vehicles in the EU use the Tachograph?. As these layouts are pretty generic fitted across a range of vehicles it could have been the (design) intention to integrate with the Layout?. With the device itself fitted behind? IF required.
