Yes I got them all but only because I had seen the answer to 6 somewhere otherwise I would have gone for 30 because if it's all ice you could go on for ever, don't think there should be a set answer to thatthanks I passed . got them all right . I should I was a transport manager. but the answer to question 6. should be longer. all the rest we all should know.

As I'm a pedantic sod I needed to check this, there doesn't seem to be a signal of just a red cross without flashing lights alongside, so sorry @DavidG58 but:I believe a red cross means lane ahead is closed not necessarily proceed no further in it
I was always taught 10x, there was a little rhyme for normal driving, "Only a fool breaks the 2 second rule, but if it should pour make it 4!"12/13 for, got 6 wrong but the question was "If there is ice or snow on a motorway, breaking distances can increase by", but ice & snow have different stopping distances I put 5x which I believe is correct for snow, where ice it is 10x

Shows that the Highway Code isn't always right, that must be where I had seen the ten times, but to anyone who's driven on ice, as someone has already said you go till you hit something , there just can't be a set figureI was always taught 10x, there was a little rhyme for normal driving, "Only a fool breaks the 2 second rule, but if it should pour make it 4!"
Pretty sure Highway code says 10x braking distance for snow and ice.
Totally agree, only safe way to drive in snow and ice is DON'T! Unless you work for the emergency services, you do not have to make that journey!Shows that the Highway Code isn't always right, that must be where I had seen the ten times, but to anyone who's driven on ice, as someone has already said you go till you hit something , there just can't be a set figure
