Hi guys

chap on the uphill marina camp site has a flat battery and no one has jump leads and he is struggling to get a response from his rescue service .

anyone local who can assist - if PM me with number and I will pass it on

My MH is able to charge HAB or cab battery from the controller for ehu. Just throw a switch

Yep sorry Weston super mare . He should get cross charge on the batteries but it appears the cab one is dead

Best to get hold of a seperate charger and charge the battery direct

yes there are but you risk a lot of problems to your own van

Do you mean the donor van or recipient van?

Can you enlighten me? I tried to do this last week with no success. I ended up removing the battery.

the doner van any spike will cause damage to your van ie engine ecu ,abs ecu, and other various touchy electronics the best way is just to charge the flat battery

Unless the battery is so flat there's no dash lights then Bump start..... Only needs a few blokes to give him a push.

Get a mobile tyre and battery fitter out to change the battery.

I am close to him I can tow start or jump start or I have a workshop charger that I could use

Put some charge in the flat battery before try to crank it over it will start easier and no problems if you remember to use this procedure
