As we now live within 100 metres of the beach I do have concerns about the long term effects of having the motorhome parked on the drive. I know there have been reports of covers causing damage by chaffing but would welcome any comments good or bad or recommendations for particular covers.
Thanks in advance.

5 years but still learning
Some of the MoHo we looked at had been "living" by the sea, one of the bigger issues seemed to be chasiss corrosion caused by the salty atmosphere, so a real good professional steam clean and underseal may be a better investment.
Not sure if a cover would help in this environment.

Good morning Graham, ProTec is the name of Motorhome cover specialists, they used to offer a bespoke service for the manufacture of their covers. Why not PM fj Mike a Funster who operates his own Motorhome valet service. He may well be able to advise you on the best way to protect your Motorhome in a salty environment. Also a good point made re corrosion to the chassis.
We will be arriving back home tomorrow morning, will expect nothing less than a 21 gun salute as we enter Portsmouth Docks. We will wave to you both.
Brisey & Pamelaaar.

Many thanks Brian. Guns all primed (y)
Did a quick check on protec. £649 for a bespoke cover. Will research more on the benefits or problems.
