After 3 days of testing things haven't been going too well for Honda. They have been having all sorts of problems with the front end, even resorting to Marc Marquez seconding Taka Nakagami's 2019 bike to try.
All the Yams have been going well but Vale is the slowest.
Suzuki have been in the top six all weekend and the Ducatis have been ominously quick.
Looks like it's going to be a cracking season.

Just said that Jack Miller was the fastest through the speed trap on his Ducati at a gnats ovef 355kph. By comparison Vale was down at 343kph.

Wait until the first race in two weeks and I still think Marc will be at the front

Sad to say but Vale is over the hill.
Got tickets for the San Marino GP in September got a feeling this could be Rossi's home farewell. If so what a atmosphere that'll be

Tried to watch it, but got to watch 2 blokes watching it.. rubbish.

Did San Marino in 2015 awesome experience, a sea of yellow. Spent a fortune on a T shirt but you can't really go there without a Vale T shirt.

I thought Yamaha were promising more power for this year sounds like they have not managed it yet again.

Don't like to dampen your enthusiasm but cases on Covid-19 are on the increase in Qatar which has prompted a number of new measures. One being a limit on Travel from highly infected areas, Japan being on the list along with China as well as a number of close neighbor's like Iran and Saudi Arabia.
I have no knowledge or interest in MotoGP but I would think that Japan China and maybe Italy would be heavily involved in the sport. Just a thought.

Are you planning on stopping on the campsite at the circuit?

No. We will be traveling thru that way end of May (again MotoGP weekend) so going to check places out. Camping Riccione not far from the circuit and next to the beach €32pn or just wild :-) ???

I would tend to agree but he has said that his shoulder is still giving him problems. He dropped the bike a couple of times which he said was due in part to not being able to pick it up with his elbow and had to rely on his knee which unloaded the front end. He will always be thereabouts on race day.

Marc has phenomenal bike control, i'm sorry to say this but imo better than Rossi's, perhaps equal with the late great Mike Hailwood who even the great Vale says was the best.

I probably think the same as you but, and it's a big but, his style of riding leads to crashes and he has been lucky so far in not getting serious injuries. This may change.

I was there watching live in Assen when Rossi had his last win in 2017
Rossi is fantastic on and off the track. It will change MotoGP when he retires for a couple of seasons.....at least it may be cheaper to get in.
World superbikes was great this weekend down in Philip Island. It was nearly as good as moto3(y)

Wonder if this is the first of many. I'm booked to go to Assen world supers but with most of the paddock staff being Italian i'm wondering if this pesky little virus is gonna spoil every ones summer.

Moto 3 & Moto 2 still going ahead as they are already there I believe

Obviously the main issue was the spectators, so they have suggested that instead of the 30 people that go to watch all sitting in the same place for camera shots, they all have a block each LOL..
