Motorists get free water refills in store's drive to bin single-use plastic

Cuh! Free tap water, eh?
Who'd have thought 20 years ago that making tap water available at no charge would be newsworthy?

65 years ago my mum used to send my sister and me to Brighton beach by bus for the day with a bottle of tap water each.

Morrisons, Ebbw Vale, filling station has an outside tap with the regular plug of fittings.

It is closer to the supemarket carpark and you can parl up close to the tap.

The staff have always be friendly an allowed me to connect my filling hose and top off the tanks. No charge and never asked to buy fuel, which I do if I need it.

You'd still be quicker than I was with the 11 litres of lpg refill ... First time they'd been asked for free overnight parking Dreading the next refill, but probably not as much as the lady in the kiosk!
