We were at Blanes in Spain a couple of years ago and, next to us were a German couple who had His and Hers Solex Mopeds.
They were the old type Mopeds with a friction wheel attached to the front wheel.
He had sought them out and renovated them to a very high standard.

Slightly off topic but Son No.2 rode this Ozzie postal bike from Brisbane to Kuala Lumpur (via Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Alice, Darwin and through all the intervening Islands.)
The bike's still in KL. Mrs Emmit's heart is in her mouth just in case he goes back and rides it home.
Underneath all that 'clutter' is a Honda CT110.
