MISTERTON 2013 - Important - Please read (1 Viewer)

Last shout for this Meet. Any more wishing to come there is plenty of room.

Here is current list of attendees, if anyone wishes to arrive before the meet starts it will not be a problem if you cant let us know that would be good.

Friday night will be a socialising evening if you wish to come and no doubt the beer and wine will be flowing and will give everyone an opportunity to meet old and new funsters. Mick has arranged a barrel of beer from the local micro brewery
We are planning to have a communial BBQ subject to weather conditions on the Saturday teatime /early evening after which it will be party time in the bedouin tent if wet
Mick is planning to do the dog walk via the hostelries on Saturday lunchtime.

If you havnt already done so will you please confirm whether or not you will be at this meet, as we would like to get some idea of numbers and who need EHU, if anyone else is interested just let us know. All budding musicians/singers welcome too

Due to unexpected circumstances the rally dates for this Meet has had to be changed, it will now take place 1 week earlier that is Friday the 21st June to the 23rd June, if this makes it not possible for those who have already expressed interest in coming to this Meet previously please let us know, the current list of attendees who were coming to the original Meet is as follows.

The cost of this meet is £5.50 per night without EHU - £8.50 per night with EHU. If anyone wants to arrive early or stay after the meet then it will not be a problem but the price will be £8 per without electric or £11 per night with electric.

Hi all at Misterton, anyone fancy fish and chips .? It's well worth the drive to Donny racecourse where you will find Whitbys - 100 yds across the road to the left of the main entrance :thumb: a fiver for take out or 9 quid , ish eat in - we usually get take out and eat in the van as aready said well worth the drive you won't be disappointed :thumb:

Got home around an hour and half ago to a major downpour.

Couldn't see a thing reversing the last bit into our drive..black as coal and mirrors covered in water....anyone know what shade of blue I need for the new scrape on the rear lower corner oh:

Thank you for a great weekend , Mick, Sheila,Andy and Shirley. We went expecting rain rain and more rain. We got sunshine and the odd shower.
The wind got up around 11am on Sunday , but I blame that on the black pudding served up with the yummy bacon butties.
We had the usual walk over the fields to the pub to sample some proper Yorkshire beer. Mmmmm
Ralph and I are planning another trip in a couple of weeks to have a meal and sample some more ale.:thumb:
We both slept like logs , though I think the Horlicks from the lovely Sheila both evenings before bed , did it for me.
Great time , great people, great venue. Put us down for next year please

Hi guys

Had a fabulous weekend thanks to Sheila,Mick, Andy and Shirl and of course all the others that helped to make it yet another successful Misterton meet.

Ben says its the best meet he had ever been to thanks to Sam and Joel for being great friends to him.

To sum it up. Great friends( old and new ), great weather, great food...

Oh almost forgot. Thankyou for the ride on the trike. Certainly blew the cobwebs away. I so want one.
