Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
I've just been reading elsewhere about a proposed plan to install motorhome hard standing on Millport, it seems that Scotland hasn't been slow to learn the value of motorhomes & how much they'll spend in the local area.

Hope it goes ahead, irnbru have you heard anything?

Yep, I know all about it, Ive been helping where I could. 2 sets of plans were presented to me for comment. Its fabulous for Millport. I'm absolutely delighted Jans hard work is paying off. Just a pity theres no water sports next year. It'll be bring your own or hire the crap ones locally...I'm working on that

PS: The date for Millport next year is primarily first weekend in June if you want to stick it in the diary. (y)

I totally agree, its a fab place weather depending. Just yesterday I found myself reliving old video footage as I cleaned out my pc. Couldn't bear to part with the footage cos it made me laugh! Just a shame it'll be no more listed as an activity weekend.:( get it in your diary Hazel!

Can you link me to this please?

Nothing now :( Its a brilliant scenic seal spotting, swimming bay etc etc but the group kayaking opportunity has gone:cry: , apart from that the island is famous for the flat cycle around at 10.5 miles.

Millport wasn't that where Winston went to stay or was that Finport. :giggle:
