It's a simple procedure, I've seen several horses and cats being done (I used to help a cat rescue place)…..if any funster ladies feel that their men need 'doing' i'm sure I could manage it and if it goes wrong I can just resort to the two house bricks method!:xThumb:
But I would ask their OH's to take care of the anaesthetic, commonly known as the 'mallet' method...…..we could line em up...….:xeek:

I keep forgetting to mention that the puppy cradle cap Gus had has ALL gone, he has been free of it for nearly 3 weeks now.:xsmile:to her food
The photo below is our old lady Gemma, the little Welsh Border Collie I had when I met Robert, I maintain that he fell for her not me.....who can blame him.
I brought her up from five and a half weeks of age, she had a raw egg from my own hens & farley's rusks added to her food.....all this started 22 years ago and she really was the most wonderful best friend and dog.

This one is of her & Georgie girl with Loch Doon in the background...…

Oh I so much just want to pick him up and give him a huggle. He reminds me so much like Blue at that age. We shall need to arrange a meet up.

I came across Blues Xmas stocking as I was unpacking the xmas decs.
I decided to wash it and hang it up as normal. Will take it full of pressies to dogs trust on boxing day and let other dogs unwrap them on blues behalf.

What an adorable, huggable pup you have. He is a lucky boy to have such a lovely home. Great to see your pics full size now that I have joined up. Had to make do with a manifying glass on the thumbnails before:(

Well Gus is being such a good boy, he now sleeps with us, he and Pepsi-boy cuddle up together on the bed with us and he loves it.....Gus draws so much comfort from being close, he loves being with us.
He sleeps through the whole night now without needing to go out for the toilet, which in turn means I am now getting more sleep.

The outside photo's were earlier this evening, the GK's love a good scamper.
We did one of our shorter routes which takes us up through the graveyard, there were some lights ahead of us and it turned out to be a couple who come from Maidenhead originally, they now live in Dalry…...but what are the chances of meeting people in the dark, in a graveyard from near where I was born.....:xsurprised:

Happy Christmas everyone from Gus and the rest of his family.
In the first photo's Gus & Gabby are showing off their new collars, they also had new toys, not that they need them, Gus is always emptying the toy box which is full.
He is on a flexi lead :reel: in the photo's so that he can have the run, but also so that I can stop him checking Pepsi-boys litter tray for what he views as a tasty treat. He will learn that it's not acceptable.
He has also found out how to make the new toys squeak, he jumps on them from the sofa, well he can't get his little mouth round them the Gabby can.
As I type Gus has both the new toys, Gabby is just watching him from beside me on the sofa.
Oh and he can sleep the whole night without needing the toilet, not one accident.:hi5:

Gabby and Gus earlier this afternoon, he wore his harness for the first time, it didn't take long to grow into it.....:xeek:
Gabby went into the water, just up to her tummy for a drink, Gus bounded in after her, then he realised he was in water, you should have seen the look on his face…..:xsurprised: I just wish I had been videoing it.

Get that camera onto video and start filming, their lives are precious to look back on. Only this morning I came across a video several years old of Me n Blue swimming together in the Sth of France. So precious and something I will always cherish. I think Gus is around Blues height here.

Gus is get him out in the car and van as often as you can.
You'll be pleased to hear that Gus is a star in the car, he loves it.x:-)
watching Gus grow up.
GROW UP, he's on stilts...:xlaugh:
wonderful happy fluffy thread
He is getting a bit more fluff now, the tail, his ruff & his back are a wee bit longer, though I don't think he will as long coated as Gabby and he won't have the wild coat that Georgie had.
He is gorgeous. That fabric dog is as big as he is!
His head is about the size of that toy now.:xeek:
I love his little tan cheeks :h::h:
He has a tan bum as well, if you look closely at the latest photo's, the one where he is watching Gabby, you can see the little tan bits that stick out either side of the top of his tail.

I just love Border Collies, and I didn’t even know it. Our last three dogs have all been Border Collies, all rescues (stretching the definition a little for one of them). Just Nell left now, she looks a lot like your Gus.

The baby gate is now fitted to the kitchen door frame so that the hooligan otherwise known as Gus can't investigate the cat litter tray.:xThumb:

What a difference from the wee dug in the first photos . They say a year for us is around seven for a dog , must be coming up to, or in, the terrible two's. You got him in mid Oct , so three months in a couple of weeks, 21 months in a dog's life , aye pretty close.
Good luck or should that be lick.
