Has anybody managed to source a replacement part for the Maxxfan blind catch?

It is clearly, and obviously made to be removed as an individual unit, but can not find a supplier of the part. If not may need to go for, getting it 3d printed, make an alternative closing method, or binning the entire crappy plastic thing, and modifying an dometic item to fit (let me know if you have a 400x400 blind assembly please).

You have to bang it to shut ours and if not held properly it flies open like Arkright’s till.
Being mercenary when I had the Maxxfan installed I kept the old Remis roof light with internal lining with blind and flyscreen. I had in mind that the internal lining could be replaced to match the others, but that didn’t happen.
Coincidentally rooflight and lining are currently for sale in the classified adds but I don’t know how easily it would be to adapt

Try Daniel Palmer at Leisure Vehicle Services. He just sent a replacement gearbox for my Maxxfan.
