I suppose technically not Glossop but near as damn it. £12 per night EHU available, its advertised as a caravan and motorhome club ..... (cough, cough, more tea vicar ...)

It's not far from The Blue John Caverns and other local tourist 'stuff'. Great area for walking and there's a pub about ten mins walk down the road, and prob 30/40 mins or so from Manchester.

Re. If EHU is a pay meter, don't know as I told them I didn't need EHU when I booked via text ...

It's definitely somewhere we would stay again, if only for it being convenient to Stockport to collect the MiL to bring her back to ours

Update, I slept peacefully but the boss was woken up twice she says by aircraft flying overhead, so if you're a light sleeper it might not be your ideal stopover !!!

No road noise at all from the road, I really did sleep well, but my wife says she was woken twice by aircraft, no idea if it's regular or not, but it's worth stopping there in my opinion.

why do sites put a piece of grass between pitches thats not usable for much ?unless they get a lot of frenchmen who pee out the door
