Magnetic valve on Dometic toilet problem

Hi, the magnetic valve on Dometic ctlp 4110 is just clicking, and no water flowing out. This is a new toilet bought a year ago but only just fitted, so never used. Pre fitting we tried it a while ago and it did work. I'm getting 14.4v at the valve. So the little stainless steel sensor on the wall obviously needs to be compressed, I'm guessing something else also needs to be and I'm missing it?

Where should the water be coming from,main tank,pressurised or micro switch system or independant tank?

The water comes from inboard storage tanks, and is flowing up to the valve ok.

If there's 14v and water at the valve, the valve must be faulty. I'd strip it down and look for some obstruction in it, it's unlikely to be worn out.
