Greetings.
Sold our MoHo privately and have decided on a Burstner this time.
Under 7m long, 3500kg and twin single beds are our preferences and both the Lyseo T690G and the Nexxo T690G fit the bill - although the differences appear quite small.
So, are Burstners worthy of their good reputation and can any owners pass on their experiences (or regrets!) regarding this pair?
Thanks.

Mines been good although new in March this year done 3000 miles been pretty good so far

Our Lyseo 700 was new in May 2019 and we did 7000 miles before lock down , and all going great, back on the travelling and we are up to 8000 miles this week, well designed and constructed, attention to detail and excellent storage.

Cann't speak for the 'newer' models, but our 2016 LHD Nexxo has done 20,000 kms and has not had any problems with internal fittings/fixtures. We currently have a problem with delamination of the floor in a small area, the underlying problem has been resolved in later vans, so I'm told.

Worth having a look and posting on the Burstner Owners or Dethleffs and Burstner Owners Facebook page for more feedback.

TD690G Lyseo, 2018. Coming up for 10,000 miles. The layout works for us. Plenty of storage inside and the large garage is perfect for a couple of bikes and all the other equipment you need to carry. No problems at all. Love it.

Burstner Nexxo 740 for us, bought in 2015, absolutely love it

Our new 2019 Lyseo 690G is our third Burstner and we're still happy with the brand fit and finish. It is a quality van.
Double floor and well insulated
Lyseo tend to only have vynal upholstery although it very high quality. The Thetford fridge is far superior to Dometic, we also had a Thetford spinflo oven/ grill fitted because it's the best.
Our biggest problem is the lack of payload at 3.5 tonnes. Without many extras we are very near the limit. It seems to be an heavy van as standard

2nd Burstner for us. 1st S Class 15 years old. It never missed a beat. Built like a brick outhouse. Our latest 2020 Ixeo T 736 looks to be every bit as solid.

Enjoy

We bought a Lyseo 690G Harmony new in January and although we have had only limited use ( less than 3 weeks) so far very pleased. Had a problem with the Fiat but the Burstner side is excellent. Very impressed with the finish.

We bought our Nexxo T660 (French bed) new in 2015. The layout suits us but we have had our share of problems, mostly with the equipment.

Grill would go out after 5 minutes
Fridge would not fire up when it was cold!
Spring broke in the bathroom door handle.
Garage door leaked.
Fridge door catch broke.
Corrosion on alloy wheels.

All these fixed under warranty.

But worst one was a leak through an awning bracket fixing bolt which caused a 70% damp reading around the top of the hab door. Again fixed under warranty.

Apart from those we have been happy with the van and have done over 25,000 miles!
