Busy day, changed drive shaft boot, decided to renew front disks while at it, changed DPF sensor and stuck in on computer to do a DPF reset, not noticed how close to the fence i was , result fence on fire new panels ordered, next doors plant to replace plus a small plastic end on the van(pogleg cap £100) But the good news is that I saw it before it set fire to the van.

Wow! That’s something I would do too. ?

I had a bike on the back of our MINI Cooper D once, went on a long drive to Cornwall and the hot exhaust gas melted and punctured my front tyre ?

bloody pyromaniac

Engine runs at high revs for about 15 min, should have been more careful
I'm still not clear what caused the fence to catch fire. All the fences around here are sopping wet. Did the fire start at the engine? My engine has run at high revs for hours and never caught fire.

When running at high revs the exhaust can light a fire a few feet away if stationary
